Love every song. Bought the cd. Saw he was coming in concert and got tickets. All the songs live sound even better!! GO ELLIOTT!!!

I love his song "wait for you" I was very excited to get his CD. I thought the sound quality was good. I found the rest of the song choices disappointing. Save your money and download the song you like.

It took me a while to get this CD, though Elliot was my favorite contestant of his season (sorry Elliot). I knew it would be good but this CD borders on fantastic. It is a very strong debut, the kind that usually make me buy a sophomore album without needing to hear it first. These songs make an old school music lover like me want to cry, dance, find someone special to hold onto, or simply sit back and enjoy Elliot's near flawless vocals. If you don't like the solid, talent filled RB of the late 70's through (arguably) the early 90's, then this album may not be for you. For those that miss that kind of pure talent and music for the SOUL, you will be very pleased indeed.

Doesn't hit a bad note - These songs are heartfelt, fun and did I say this guy can SANG !!!br /I love every song on this CD - there's things for lovers, for breakups and some for your mama.br /"Train Wreck" is pretty heartwrenching, and "I'm the Man" just makes me proud to be...a man.br /br /THANK you Elliott, for this wonderful gift.

I was thrown back by his smooth vocal deliverance. Not only is his voice crystal clear, he left my ears wanting to hear more! The songs are not the best, of course, due to many years of listening to (and loving) music and my choice of genres of music. Mr. Elliott Yamin, in my exclusive opinion, is indeed the first and only (so far) reigning king of Fox-TV's American Idol. Mr. Yamin had me thinking of the (past) duets: Peabo Bryson Roberta Flack, Sarah Vaughan Billy Eckstein, Ronald Isley Angela Winbush, Marvin Gaye Tammy Tyrell. br /br /The only two missing items Mr. Yamin need is some serious song-writers and REAL acoustic instruments. Once the two missing items coexist, you too will see the reigning king of American Idol like I see.br /* * * * *br /P.S. I loved the song "MOVIN' ON"! Nice one. ;) However, I find it totally "AMAZING" when one says they are "MOVIN' ON" and exclaims "I'LL WAIT FOR YOU", as they "FIND A WAY". This album can be divided into 4 separate Gold platinum albums/CDs! I needed to add this updated postnote to my review. I smell several grammys for this fine young fella!
