Bought this CD for my GF. She thinks Elliot should have won AI, I think Chris D should had.br /Listened to this CD and it is good. I like several songs and Elliot does have a great voice.

The 2 stars are for the albums songs, not Elliott's voice. He was my AI favorite that season, because of his unique style. Loved the blue-eyed soul! br /br /These song styles are NOT what he does best. The album producers should have, and need to, let him go-with-the-soul instead of trying to fit him into another mold.br /br /I'm looking forward to a truly "soul-focused" album from Elliott.

Elliott Yamin is such a breathe of fresh air and exactly what the boring music industry needs at this time which is a time of clones, wannabe's sound-mixing fakes. His authentic, BRILLIANT voice joyful songs make me really happy! Train Wreck, Find a Way, Free, I'm the Man One Word are exceptional "stand-outs". The rest are really good too. Funnily enough, my least favorite song is his big hit "Wait for You". It's OK, but too Pop oriented for my taste. I highly reccomend this CD and this singer. Keep your eye on Elliott Yamin, he will be around for decades thank goodness for that.
An Unexpected Surprise! An Amazing Album! November 24, 2007

I enjoyed watching Elliott sing on American Idol. He was an unexpected talent in a generic field. WHen the CD was released..I didn't buy it right away. But when I finally did...I left it in my CD player for three months. Awesome, Amazing, Fantastic and a true joy to listen to. I am a huge fan now and will look forward to more of his releases. Well done!
 Perfect Tone November 19, 2007
American Idol is hit miss with both its contestants and their subsequent albums. This is a bulls-eye. Yamin's tone is, as always, perfect. The album's tracks, if a bit stilted toward the "girl-you-are-amazing" subject, are just as engaging in the 50th listen as in the first. The only track that bothers me is "Alright". It has a fun dance rhythm and downbeat and then... "we can indiscreetly dip out of sight." Really? Indiscreetly? That lyric drives me nuts every time I hear it, every single time.
