Note: I love Styx, and this is a must have for Styx fans! I'm not here to bash Styx...but be warned - the concert is very cheesy. The in-between-song acting by DeYoung and Shaw as they play out the story of Kilroy will make you laugh and cringe with embarassment. And Tommy Shaw's outfit is like a wreck you can't look away from. Show this DVD to friends and watch their jaws drop! The whole "what were they thinking" element of the show and concept is a great conversation piece!br / Musically it's a great performance! And the bonus videos are a great add-on. You won't be disapointed.

First of all, let me say that it's about time this concert was released on DVD. I've enjoyed my copy on VHS for years. I've given my review only 4 stars for one reason - and that's the sound and video quality aren't any better than the video tape. Still a great concert and well worth it for Styx fans if for nothing but the bonus material.

I can remember renting this video as a high schooler. Paradise Theater is what sealed the deal for me as a Styx fan. As a keyboard player, though, I loved the synthesized-Mr. Roboto. I know that smacks many rock-n-roller Styx fans in the face, but I loved the marriage of rock with the technology of the time. I thought the Caught in the Act video was so inventive at the time. Now my kids are Styx fans...I've looked for this video for years, and now I can share it with them.
