This CD offers an intriguing look at some old standbys with a great mix of diverse and talented female artists. I've always been an Anne Murray fan for both her artistry and style, but combine her unique flair with her choice of music and duet partners and you've got a must have CD. br /br /I usually don't write music reviews, and most of the music I buy tends to be compilations because with lots of artists all the songs start to sound alike by the 4th or 5th track. One of Murray's chief strengths on this CD is the ability to let her partners' voice lend great texture to each track, giving the whole CD a fresh sound. One of the nice things about this album is that it really isn't another lame remake or "best of" CD. Each vocalist lends new pop and is really a tribute to Murray's versatility.br /br /As with any album, you may find one or two tracks that may not really zing you, but all the songs are quite easy on the ears even if they won't ever be among your new favorites. br /br /Some of the songs well worth the price of the album for me were: Never Fall in Love Again with Dusty Springfield, Another Pot 'O Tea with the wonderful Emmylou Harris (very folksy and you just don't hear it enough), Cotton Jenny with Olivia Newton-John (saucier than Gordon Lightfoot's version), You Needed Me with Shania Twain (this song got a great upgrade with a more modern voice), and Could I Have This Dance with Amy Grant. I'm still trying to make up my mind on Daydream Believer with Nelly Furtado...I liked the song, and the vocals were good, but it sounded weird because it just wasn't as bouncy as the original version.br /br /Give this CD a try. It is a great addition to any music library and I intend to revisit my copy regularly.

This is one of the best easy listening CD's on the market. Not only is Anne Murray's performance top notch but her guest performers are golden.

Bringing Anne Murray's old hits in a duet format is really refreshing to the ears. I've enjoyed all of her songs in the past and having her do them with friends is like listening to brand new songs again. Whoever thought of this idea should be given the four star of productions. I'm enjoying the cd as I write this. Thank you again. Ed Chargualaf

Anne Murray has a beautiful voice and it was nice hearing her share her talent with others. If you are an Anne Murray fan this is a nice CD to add to your collection.
