 Lennon Legend...It speaks for itself. September 25, 1998
So what should you do if you're a Beatles fan and you own all of the albums? Start buying the solo albums! Most of them are worthy of a positive nod. However, if you're in to John Lennon but aren't too familiar with his solo work, this is an excellent place to start. From the unforgettable ballad, "Imagine" to the timeless rock anthem, "Give Peace a Chance", Lennon weaves a spell of musical magic that captivates all listeners. His music is filled with spirit and purpose. It's like a wall full of beautiful pictures that builds around the listener. Frankly, it's tough to listen to Lennon's music without feeling a bit ripped off. Not because of the music, but because Lennon was sadly murdered. He could have produced more exciting yet soothing piano with his authentic voice, but it I suppose that it wasn't meant to be. But we still can look back at all that John Lennon has done for rock and roll and remember... Through his music we go back in time and "Imagine" once more with John Lennon....the Legend

The music itself is beautiful. Lennon is a gifted singer and songwriter. However, some selections transmit messages perverted by many of his movements.

For those of you who have Lennon collection album, this album will be very identical... So why should waste your money and buy this album if you already have the John Lennon Collection? It is the compilation of the John's best song but this album is nothing new. There is no new songs that will make this album to be different from John Lennon Collection CD. In my opinion, this album is bad album because whoever try to make this album want to exploit our money and John Lennon fame.. To reissue the Compilation of John works under different name and make it look new, to me, is a deceptive business practice...
 The remake of John Lennon Collection.. August 4, 1998
Well, this album is basically the remake of John Lennon Collection. There is nothing new on this album. Every songs in John Lennon's legend are exactly the same on John Lennon Collection. If you already own John Lennon's Collection album don't waste your money on it. However, if you don't own any John Lennon album, this is the best album to own.
