 Monty Python RULES!!! December 7, 1998
This film has it all. Humor, history, Knights Who Say Ni, etc. When I first saw it, I thought I would hate it, but it has become my favorite movie and will always remain dear to me. Monty Python have given me a lot of inspiration to start my own comedy troupe. Holy Grail is the greatest movie of all time!!!!!
Funniest movie ever made December 7, 1998
If someone can "answer me these questions three" I will count them among friends. It took at least 100 watchings of this movie to actually hear or see it all. I have a downloaded version of the script, I own the movie and perched on my bookcase are two halves of a coconut and I STILL watch the movie again every six months or so when my soul needs a lift. My teenage nephews are now hooked and own their own copies. I've met people who know the "RUN AWAY--RUN AWAY" lines from the killer rabbit scene and have never even heard of the movie. The quotes from the movie have become part of a sub-culture language where the only answer to "what's the air speed velocity of an un-laden swallow" is "african or european" and someone yelling "arggggh!" as they fly into the pit of eternal peril. A MUST watch!
Classic Brit humor! December 7, 1998
I believe this to be the pinnacle of all the Monty Python movies. Full of classic lines still in use in conversations today. Set in the Dark Ages during the time of King Arthur, this witty film follows the quest for the Holy Grail, the cup used by Christ at the last supper. So many humorous things happen to the hapless Knights along the way it is difficult to pick a favorite scene, but I would have to say it is when Arthur confronts some peasants who give him quite an earful about governing systems. Quite funny! I highly recommend this movie, whether you are a Monty Python lover or are seeing this genre for the first time.
Best movie off all time, but only if you like British Comedy December 7, 1998
Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a extremely funny movie. My favorite parts are the Holy Handgrenade and Sir Lancelot being asked to spank an entire convent of sisters. This movie might not hit your funny bone if you are not a fan of british comedy however.

This is THE funniest movie ever made! My friends and I are forever quoting lines from it to each other, and not only do we never get sick of it, we never run out of scenes to re-hash, either. Even if you don't like comedy, this is a must-see. You'll laugh yourself silly!
