Everywhere there is a joke! December 3, 1998 Funny, funny, funny! Starting from King Arhtur riding himself, to the end where the French humiliate the Engilsh one last time!
This movie is hilarious!!!!!!! December 1, 1998 I believe this is the funniest movie out there. Everyone else points out funny parts, but the best is when Tim the Enchanter fires a missile from his walking stick!!
If you haven't seen it, do so now. Hysterical! November 27, 1998 The best one-liners permeate this film. Not to be missed
Time for a real director's cut November 26, 1998 Of course this is one of the funniest movies of all time, far surpassing Schindler's Moose or the Wehrmacht Travel Guide To France(and other low countries). The print, which was never pristine(or FDS) is getting tired, and this "widescreen" edition is not that much wider than the usual version. This is a great candidate to be remastered and/or digitized. I bought it, for I needed a new copy anyway, but Father, I don't want to marry her, I want to sing.....
Well, this was the first Python I ever saw November 24, 1998 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
..and after seeing the rest I still consider it my favorite. You can see the influence this film had on spoofs such as Airplane and (regrettably) all the Leslie Neilsen Naked Gun flicks that came after. This film, however, has the distinction of being one of the best of the lot, and certain scenes will stick to you like glue (personal fave's : The Coconut, "I'm not dead yet!", and Castle Anthrax). As an English major with a Medieval concentration, it was even funnier within the context of the literature of the period (which as English majors and PhDs, the Python boys were familiar with). Give it a go..this one's a keeper. PS- As a girl who likes Python, try it on your girlfriend. You might be surprised at her sense of humor.
