Definatly a 70's flick November 5, 1999 This is a GREAT movie. But if you listen to most of the chase sceanes you can tell this movie was made in the 70's era. Anyway I have loved this movie since I was 4. And I love to this day!
A riot from beginning to end April 4, 1999 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have the video "Robin Hood", and it is an absolute scream! It's a hilarious rendition of the Robin Hood legend, made as hilarious as it is by the antics of the villains: Prince John, Sir Hiss, the Sheriff of Nottingham, and the Sheriff's deputies: Trigger and Nutsy. Well, the Sheriff isn't as funny as the others, but it's funny when he's victimized by the antics of Trigger and Nutsy.pAs for the other four, Sir Hiss is actually the smartest of the group, but he has the misfortune of being the syncophant of Prince John, who won't listen to a word Sir Hiss will say and blames Sir Hiss when things predictably go wrong. As for Prince John himself, he's so immature, childish, and easily duped, he's a scream! Especially when he sucks his thumb and cries "Mommy!" It cracks me up! Trigger's antics with his crossbow, "Old Betsy" also are hilarious, especially when the crossbow goes off! And Nutsy is so stupid, he doesn't even know that he should add a couple of hours to his brain!pIn short, I recommend this film for its humor and adventure. Don't miss it!pBelle Book
Oodalolly!! :o) April 3, 1999 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is my favorite Walt Diseny movie, and one of my favorite movies besides. I was enchanted as a kid, I loved the jokes, (which were very funny, some of them) and it was what made me love Robin Hood. I love how the story is with animals, I love how Robin is a fox, and so on. Some friends of mine from England had come over for a visit, and noticed that they pronounce words quite differently, like Nottingham, but I still enjoyed it just as much, or more, than the other versions of Robin Hood, so Oodalolly, golly what a day!! Hee hee, :o)
Great Show! best Disney ever. January 6, 1999 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
One of the best Disney animated movies I've seen. Never a dull moment, always keeps you on your toes with cartoon silliness. a must-see
