| Customer Reviews:
Funny and cute! September 23, 2008 My daughter and I love Moe Willems! It's a great book with a simple, and funny story line that parents with small children will enjoy reading. Your child will love this story--if there were a downside to the book, I would say it's a little short, but's its still a perfect story.
great read September 20, 2008 my son loves knuffle bunny animated and now he loves the book. great illustraions mixed with real pictures. great read
A Teacher's Perspective September 9, 2008 This Caldecott Honor book is filled with amazing illustrations. Black and white photographs are superimposed with cartoon-like characters. The story features three main characters, a mom, a dad, and a toddler. The toddler accompanies her dad to the laudromat with her favorite attachment object in tow. Knuffle Bunny finds his way into a washing machine and gets left behind. br /br /As the mother of a three-year-old who treasures her blankie, I can certainly relate to this story. I also laughed out loud when I read that Trixie "went boneless" because of my experiences with this phenomena. br /br /In the classroom, I'd love to allow children to experiment with this illustration style. Using black and white photos, with their own cartoon images pasted on top. Another option would be to invite children bring and share their own attachment objects from their homes.
Adorable! August 24, 2008 I've heard for several years the absolute wonder of this book. And finally I get around to reading it. What a joy to do that! This book is thoroughly adorable, packing heart I did not quite expect as well as an incredible blend of illustration and photograph. While I warn that certain ages of children may not be as impressed with it as others will, it's a wonderful book for whomever will listen.
Sweet July 9, 2008 We received this book as a gift and my 2 year old daughter LOVES it. She does her own "knuffling" around the house, she's totally enjoying the story.
